How Much Does It Cost

Bluelight is a Norwegian-owned company in the Philippines. Our main goal is to help Norwegian companies that need new employees within IT services. But of course we help companies from other countries as well.

With Bluelight, you get a senior developer for NOK 58,800 a month. A full-time senior developer in Norway usually costs you around NOK 8 to 900,000 in salary per year. Employer's tax, holiday pay, office space, and various other direct and indirect costs are also added. Not to mention hiring a Norwegian developer on a consulting basis. Then you have to pay well over NOK 1,000 an hour, even in long contracts.

Not to be completely assertive regarding Norwegian VAT law. Since this is an online service, we believe that you as a Norwegian company can include VAT on the monthly amount. Please double check this to be absolutely sure if it is correct.

This is how we calculate the price.

You choose to bring in developers through us, you pay a fixed monthly price based on 160 working hours per month. We make it easy and categorize our developers into three different levels, based on their competence and experience. All our developers, regardless of level, have a relevant bachelor's and/or master's degree.

A junior developer normally has two to four years of relevant experience.

A senior developer has four years of relevant experience or more.

A team leader has four years of relevant experience and has taken on management tasks in addition to being a senior developer.

All prices are ex. VAT and applies to customer relationships with a time perspective longer than one year. but have a triel time of 3 months.

We send invoices month by month in advance, twelve months a year. Built into the price is three weeks' holiday and self-reported sick leave of up to nine days. Absences beyond this are covered by us.

The prices are regulated once a year based on the cost level (consumer price index and currency fluctuations). The price is adjusted twelve months after commencement at the earliest, so you are guaranteed the agreed price for the entire first year.
